(negative help, something I'm sure we all have experienced before)

However, there is one type of help that I would now like to touch on, which is the help, that only you can give yourself, love and self respect.

Anyone knows, that no one, can live without love. This is also true for respect. We humans are largely (most of us anyway) are beings which thrive on love. Without which, most will fall into depression and everything that it entails.

Respect is also something that is not to be underestimated. Respect itself is love, but of a different type. It is something seemingly insignificant, but none the less important.

Then, one may ask, why do I mention something so trivial under a web-log title with such a grand name? Well, the answer is simple; most people who seek psychological help, lack these 2.

My argument? It is that most people who need external to comfort themselves, who cannot be alone with themselves for extended periods of time (in my terms, instable) are people who do not love themselves enough. They seek outer sources of support and love so that they can feel loved.

The real message I would like to get across is this, when the world walks out on you, you and only you can and have to walk in on yourself. Sometimes you may have the luxury of a friend but sometimes you don’t. You have to love, respect and trust yourself enough to pull through the crisis because sometimes, even friends cannot help you.. In the words of a very wise friend of mine: "Impermanence rules nature." Think about it, isn't that true? How often has something stayed the same for a very long period of time? You may say a friend yes, but haven’t you noticed the evolution of your relationship over time, was it always that permanent?

I would like to end this by saying this; there is no more love, that loving yourself. If you cannot love yourself, that how more can you love others?

P.S Remember this, no one and nothing around you is eternal to you but yourself!

The stand that I take

Greetings to one and all, I am the person known to you all, only as ickosoer.

I know I am not much, but wish to share what little I know or observe from this world and universe. All of this, is the hope, that all who do read will be inspired to give, love, but the most important of all, to respect, all that is around and in them, and not to extend it only, to other fellow homeo-sapiens.

After seeing what I have, and been thru what little of life I have, I have remembered somethings which are quote worthy:

- Karma: the law of cause and effect; which states that whatever you do now, will affect what will happen to you later, an whatever happens to you now, is the result of your karma ripening.

- Buddhism: Everything is nothing.

- Traditional chinese medicine: Based on the principle of the balance of yin and yang.

- Indian Ayurveda:The balance of the 5 elements in the body.

- Biology, partically homeostasis: The mintainence of a constant internal body environment, encompassing temperature, water potential, glucose level, cell replacement, etc.

- Chemistry, enthalpy: based on the concept that something warmer than its environment will release heat into the environment so that the temperature of it can be the same as that of the surrounding environment.

- Physics, inertia: An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion.

- Meteorology: Air will move from an area of higher to lower air pressure.

My real point here is this, in one word, equilibrium.

This is one concept, that everything, and life itself, strives to be in, and because of that, anyone who tries to disturb it, will disturb life itself.

Having this concept in mind, it often leaves me to wonder, what the repercussions of industrialisation are that we humans have set in motion, since the poineering of ancient cities like that of the Aryan civilisation. This is so as we, man, as a speicies, have been taking valuable resources from the gold mine of nature, largely without first offering something in return nor to ensure the next person has what you have should he have the same need.

One of the few examples I could use to illustrate are these: the wars of old have left their marks of our societies today. One of them, would be the one that exists between the believers of the cross and those of islam, which until today, uneasy tension exists between them. Another, would be the the tension between the catholics and protestants in Northern Ireland which were caused by events dating centuaries back, which exists till this day. And last but not least, the uneasyness when easterners handle matters with westerners, (and vice versa) which is largely due to their exchange in history, which still has an effect when exchanges take place now a days, and the reason for it, is largely due to the the colonising ideals of the european in the exploration age, which resulted in many wars, confrontation, and unnecessary bloodshed, because of one thing, greed.

There are many more things that I can point out, but my main point is, that after realising that big events have big repercussions, I would like everyone, to think before they act, to not so much think of the course of action to take, but the intentions and the intended outcome they wish to make. That is the real pont I wish to make is that intentions go a long, long, long long way. This is true even if all you are able to do, is make a wish, for a simple wish, goes a long way if your heart is true(ever wondered if wishes do come true? They do). Never underestimate the magnitude of any action made, for everything done, there is energy given off, and energy can never, ever, be destroyed. (The law of conservation of energy, physics)

Hence, the only reason, why I exist as an agape, is because there is too much hatred and negativity in the world, aknowledging, that too much love will do more good than harm and by doing it out of pure intentions to help others, I hope to inspire others to do the same in their own way, like someone has inspired me to do this. (but a smile won't kill =3)
